Empowering individuals to find peace, purpose, and physical strength through yoga both on and off the mat using it as an option to reset and reconnect to what's most important.
Yoga is translated as meaning "union". It's an ancient Vedic technology system with the purpose of learning to control the thought waves of the mind to facilitate concentration that leads to samadhi or enlightenment. Yoga asanas or poses are designed to build physical strength that will allow the body to sit in meditation long enough to reach samadhi.
Yoga As Life is looking to emphasize how yoga can transform us mentally and physically, in the hope that it will be applied both on and off the mat.

I attended a yoga class with Justine and it was exactly what I needed during this quarantine! Justine was awesome. Very present and mindful. The session really worked me out. This was my first official yoga class and Justine's instruction was simple enough for a beginner like me. The poses were simple too, which helped me feel even more relaxed. I thought I'd be twisted up like a pretzel. The music was soothing. It was so amazing. Afterward I felt so loose. I hadn't realized how stiff I'd gotten. I will be attending again.

Hello, I’m Justine, your compassionate Yoga Instructor and Integrative Health Coach. My journey into the world of yoga began in 2012, driven by a deep desire for healing and personal growth. As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I have navigated the complexities of sensory sensitivity, especially during the challenging times of the pandemic. As a formerly single mom turned wife, mom, and step-mom to four vibrant children, I experienced undiagnosed postpartum depression that later manifested as anxiety while balancing family life and working from home.
My path has been one of learning to embrace my sensitivity as a strength, utilizing spiritual and mindfulness practices, yoga, nutrition, and counseling to facilitate profound personal transformation. Through these holistic approaches, I have found effective ways to manage my sensitivity and navigate the demands of daily life.
I am passionate about sharing my experiences and insights with others who identify as HSPs or are navigating similar challenges. I offer tailored coaching packages designed specifically for those who seek to understand and embrace their sensitivity, incorporating therapeutic yoga practices, mindfulness techniques, and nutritional guidance.
